‘Give us our daily bread’ (Matthew 6:11). To be human is to need daily bread – daily sustenance to fill our stomachs. But no matter how much you eat on one day, two or three days later you will need more – we need bread to survive. Our need for bread, at the deepest level, reminds us of our need for God. Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Harvest together and consider what Jesus meant when He said ‘I am the Bread of Life.’
